Robert is right ! I also have 30 years with pressurized engines and have
cobbled
a few systems together myself :) If your bike is used on the street a
nitrous
system would give you the same performance when wanted at 1/10 the money
.
I would spend the money that would be used on a turbo system on a 1500
motor.
The torque curve of the 1500 will be a much more enjoyable engine to
control
compared to the light switch power of the turbo . The main problem with
the
Vmax when considering pressurization is the ignition system . Due to the
70*
lag in timing no one has developed a fully controlable system that I
know of .
Someone said they were working on a dual ignition system keyed off the
crank
I would key off the cams . Much easier to do . The reason I'm talking
about the
ignition is in my opinion you can not really have a enjoyable &
steetable system until you can
get control of the ignition .
On the other hand if you are willing to spend the time & money there
is nothing like
a turbo at full boost going down a straight road :)
Just my thoughts
