Carburetor Question.

I have adjusted the pilot screws out approx. 2 to3 turns bike appears to run 
and idle ok if I wished to be more precise on the pilot adj. at idle would 
the mecury stick work for this it does not seem to be seem to be sensitive 
enough would a tackometer work for this adj.. or would you need a exhaust 
analizer..thanks Howard
