Howard, I just reset my af mixture too. And we have a gas analayzer. If you don't have one, you cannot pricesely making the adjusment. But not too worry about it. 2-3 turns out seems still a little too lean (backfiring in the AM. But if not, then it's ok). Normally 3-4 turns out is perfect. Adjustment normally is a little rich. But not too rich (makes idle too high in normal engine temperature)

and idle ok if I wished to be more precise on the pilot adj. at idle would
the mecury stick work for this it does not seem to be seem to be sensitive
enough would a tackometer work for this adj.. or would you need a exhaust
