I would'nt think so if you run water from a hose through the radiator cap
under the right scoop . I did this to mine and it seemed to flush everything
out and I imagine the force of water circulated around the water jackets
around the cylinders . At the same time I also switched the fan sensor switch
which now turns the fan on at about 195 degrees .
