HMMMM,,, Perhaps a little Devils Advocate here. I installed my MSD shift
light and I paid 75 for it. and 25 for the rpm modules. The thing works
good but it needs a custom bracket. My friend happens to be a machinist
so he made me a nice one out of aluminum. My bike does not see the kind
of miles that yours does Kraig, so perhaps this is apples and oranges.
anyway the MSD shift light works great for 100$ and I set mine at 9700
RPM right now. Perhaps will go to 9900.
I have heard you don't want to get them wet But I think Tyler was
telling me that you can water proof them with some silicon or something
and take care of that. i'm not too worried about it cuz I haven't been
riding my bike in the rain.
Take care Phil
