Subject: Re: shift light
There is an after market that makes grips and pegs
for bikes called KURGUR (I think) they make stainless steel claps for
various size frame tubes so you can mount their highway pegs. I
bought the right size clap for my mad max drag bars and welded a square
tubing extension with a plate steel tray on the end of this that the MSD
mounts onto. If you want I can send you some pictures, I do not
recommend the MSD light, it sucks. I got caught in a light rain and
it locked on two days until it dry out. You need to get the "CHEAP
AND EASY" shift light. It only cost $35.00 dollars and can be set to any
RPM and changed to a different RPM in about 5 seconds and best of all it's
waterproof. I'm sorry I don't recall the website address, but
I'm sure the gurus on the list can help. The guy builds them himself
and does an excellent job, for $3.50 more he will send you a mount that
you an attach straight to your speedo housing.
CAN ANYONE
HELP WITH THE ADDRESS WITH THE "CHEAP AND EASY" shift light?
