You need a "Badlands Turn Signal Equalizer".  Most H-D shops carry them.  I
have small aftermarket signals and had the infamous quick flashing, as well.
I installed the equalizer inside my headlight assembly and wired it in to
the turn signal circuit as the simple instructions described.  The thing
comes with connectors, but I solder and shrink-wrap all connections.  Old
habits die hard.

Result:  No hacking into your wires.  Normal signal flash speed.  Auto
cancel retained.   Signals operated just like stock, only smaller and
kewler.  No more embarrassing bulbous moments, Jo.
