Where intake temps.are low ,combustion temps are also low . high combustion
temps.cause pre-ignition.richer mixture also lowers combustion temps. you
may not get away with this when it's warm outside. high octain fuels burn
slower than low octain fuels.One thing to think about STEVE is detonation,
you only hear it when it is past the point of doing damage.BRADFORD

I live in southern Indiana near Louisville Kentucky, it doesn't get real
cold here
maybe
lower teens during the winter months.......why do u ask ?
