Just my 2 cents worth, I'm an original owner of an '85 max and I've had to add fluid
very rarely to my clutch (maybe once every year and 1/2 and small amounts). I looked
for leaks underneath the engine and saw none. I'm guessing it's going in the
crankcase. Haven't noticed any problems but would appreciate any input on this
