I had some electrical probs several weeks ago, which I finally fixed. Now I
have a new problem--I recently discovered while charging my battery, that I
could crank the bike as long as the charger was hooked up, but as soon as I
pulled the positive clamp off the battery terminal, the bike died!?! And,
without the charger, the bike is totally dead--no lights, etc. I checked the
battery with a voltmeter, and it was rather weak with the ignition turned
off, but it jumped to a full reading with the ignition on (which may or may
not be normal, I have no idea). Does this sound like a battery problem, or
something else? I am trying to avoid buying another battery, as this one is
only a few months old. Any responses are appreciated
