Vic,
have you done any upgrading of the forks or rear shocks yet?
i put the solid mounts on my bike at the same time i did the
fork(RT springs and emulaters) and works shocks. the whole package was real
solid.
i didn't realize how much the shocks were contributing until i
took them off to be reworked. my bike doesn't do the high speed weave that
you describe, in fact i can gun from 60mph to a sustained 135per and it is
dead steady but the stock shocks SUCK for curves and can't be adjusted
enough for any improvement.
            i'm very light@ 130lbs and 5'4", and have taken the .80 RT
springs out of my forks and am using the stockers with the emulaters. this
was the only way i could get the proper sag in the suspention at my weight.
i also have the RT 1" drop kit installed AND the fork tubes 2"s
up through the clamps. this makes my bike handle like a train on tracks!!! i
have no idea if this can be done sucessfully by someone heavier than me or
not. probably if you have the correct spring for your weight, to keep from
bottoming the front end or hitting the radiator.
anyway you asked for input, there you go.
good luck, if you want to talk about this more post me off list.
             steve
