Something that makes a difference between figures is rider weight and riding
style.  Last spring I weighed about 300, rode a stock Vmax, and stuck my
fist in it every chance I got.  I live at about 500 ft above sea level and
it's hot, or at least warm, most of the time.  I was getting about 90 miles
before the light came on.  By my math that comes out to about 30 mpg.

               i run a very tweeked stg7 and kerker with TC's ignition
circuit.
               i commonly roast tuperware and am getting 39.9 mpg.
