There are 4 supplementary service "manuals" at the back of the my new manual
in the published order of  VMX12S, VMX12U, VMX12E, VMX12H.  Guess I needed
to look through it a bit more thoroughly before ranting, but as TC pointed
out, other manuals had the supplements in the beginning of the manual.  The
index does not list the supplements either.
The dealer stated that the 2001 manual has a different part number than the
manual that covered 1999 & 2000.  If the significant changes are contained
in the supplements and the supplements haven't changed since 1996, why
separate part numbers for the manuals?  Because the covers are different?
