Tall Straight velocity stacks were on the 86 Vmax that I bought.  I am sure
this is a mickey mouse setup, but the guy before me had taken automotive
radiator hose and cut them to fit in the airbox.  The hose is slightly
smaller than the carbs.  You have to squeeze the hose pieces around the
carbs.  He then used silicon around the stacks in the airbox to maintain a
good seal.  I am sure this is not the best way, but it does seem to work.

velocity stacks that will fit the MK carbs and fit under the faux
