I believe for automotive applications, NOS recommends 2500 rpm. Now.....a bike that happily revs to 10,000 rpm, you might want to add a thousand RPM or so. It doesn't seem to be possible to get my system to arm below 4000 because the rpm is past that point before I can twist my wrist far enough to engage the system (WOT switch only).
