Bruce, sorry to answer your question with a question, but...
Do you mean your car has no cam gear, timing gears, distributor gear, etc???
IMHO, there are plenty of gears in a car. Sure they're different than a
bike tranny, but they're still gears meshing together!
Good auto oil will not foam in a motorcycle unless there's too much of it,
or it's contaminated with water.

someone answer this for me
I heard that motorcycle oil has some additive(s) in it to keep the oil from
foaming because on a motorcycle there are gears meshing unlike in a car and
if u use car oil in a bike u will have more foam than oil
might be why some folks overflow oil all the time
