Steve, the only big difference is in the ignition and cams. If its a
85-89 then you have the two pick ups and a different black box. Some 90
& 91 I've seen also have this. There aren't any major differences in the
rest of the bike. Turn signal relay, starter relay, the wiring harness,
but the motor is still the same heavy lump from 85. The 85 & 86 did have
stronger cams, but thats about it. The Euro early version didn't have
the v-boost. The Canadian models have adjustable needle position. Be
happy, keep the oil changed, and don't try to keep up with a Busa on the
big end.
