Since the washer to do the furbur fix is no longer available from Paul, does anybody know of another source.  Is this an item that can be found in Pep Boys?  Or does it have to be made?  The specs call for an ID of 25mm, would that be 1" for us SAE types?  How critical is the thickness speck of 3.5mm?  Wiggle room on this?  The OD is 33mm, would 1 /4" work? or is 1 3/8" better?

I'm very interested in applying this since I've just gone through a front tire fiasco with my otherwise reliable shop.  I bought a set of Michelin Macadams.  They installed them and test rode.  The front shakes badly when you let go of the bars. So they took off the front and ordered a new one.  Same thing happened.  Well the front end shakes with the OEM Bridgestone, so what's the big deal, last I heard, you're supposed to keep your hands on the bars (at least 1).  I have the Super Brace installed.  Max is a 2000.  Will the furbur fix correct this situation?  I'm still riding around with the original with over 7k miles on it.  The next tire the shop puts on will be 'at my own risk.
