My OEM Vmax sissy bar is two piece with the upper rail and pad held on with
four screws. I am going to take my sissy bar off and have a local machine
shop fab me a short aluminum top rail or cap to replace the upper rail and
pad for whenI am going solo. I may even have all 3 pieces chrome plated for
more show. This looks to be an extremely easy and relatively cheap mod. I
dont know why no one is doing it or has done it and not shared the results.
