If you were to take a Vmax frame and draw all possible
lines between the engine mounts you will find that the
solid mounts provide increased stiffeness at 15 cross
points along 5 planes. What is missing is that 6th
plane (of the frame around the engine) at the back of
the engine. Front to back cross braces help address
this. For more improvement you should also add in some
gussets near the swing arm and in the square frame
section (that outlines the front of the battery box).
