Hi Phil, no drugs but sometimes I even wonder why I
think about these things...and no, I don't have a
diagram, but Paul S. has some pics of the S/A gussets
at this site...in essence the frame around the engine
is a box, which is the worst shape for stiffness. The
goal is to cross brace both front to back and left to
right on all 6 planes. The solid mounts help alot
along the bottom and part way up the front. They do
not help the top or back plane of the "box"... a frame
brace will help a bit front to back but not
torsionally.
