Potential new Vmax Owner

I'm planning on selling my 96 Gixxer 750 in the near future and then buying a Vmax, I'm getting tired of the High reving horsepower of the inline four, and am wanting a more user friendly power curve. Although mysuzi is very fast she requires a great deal of work and i'm not as young as I once was. I'm concerned about the weight of the Vmax is it really noticable and with all the handling complaints i've heard is it really that bad. I live in Florida so Straight roads are the rule, but I would prefer not to experience any high speed weeve the max has a reputation for. My suzi has been clocked at 168mph without so much as a wiggle, will the max be as stable, or should i stock up on clean underwear. Thanks Bill
