Don, I am not speaking from personal experience but the K591 has a
reputation for good traction and a short life. Some time back someone
posted some numbers like 1500 or fewer miles and I thought this tire was
going out of production. Anybody else recall this? OK Mario, take another
shot a me for my poor memory, I deserve it!

Hello Everyone, I have a question about tire wear. When I bought my Max
brand new this past summer it had the factory Bridgestone on the rear. This
tire wore out in three thousand miles!!, not to mention a nasty wobble it
contributed! I decided on the Dunlop K591s as replacements front and rear.
The wobble went completely away except when powering into long sweepers
which I attribute to the swingarm. The grip with this tire is incredible.
Even at 80 or 90 when I shift I can feel it DIG!! and handling improvement
is major, however....the tire now has under 1000 miles on it and showing
signs of wear. yes i hammer on occasion but not all the time. Is this wear
normal? What tire can i put on this badboy that will give high performance
and decent tread life?
