Sam, I found that they are,I think it's in the tread design, the Venom X
have less grooves to get rid of the water,if your on very smooth pavement
and it's raining the back wheel seems to want to slip out from under you, I
Don't know if the tread design is the same on the H rated tire, but I might
try a different tire next time,it's a great tire on dry pavement, but I do
drive in the rain sometimes 3-4hrs at a time(going to US meets), I don't
feel they give me the confidence in the rain like other tires did.
