Just got my new issue of Vboost (Volume4, Issue 3,2000) and its
great ! Its kinda like a printed
copy of the tech list with pictures. :) The picture on the cover of a
few people doing burn outs
brings me to my next question/comment.
What is the fascination with burnouts using stock tires ? After the
rear tire is spinning, their is
probably like 4 square inches of rubber on the pavement. Is this
supposed to impress people that
a bike with 145 horse power can spin 4 square inches of rubber
..........lol....I'm at a loss.
This is the kind of thing I expect to see from the Drunken Harley
crowd, because they have a
"no go show bike" ..but the Vmax has the guts to back up its
looks......I don't get it.

P.S. Yes, I've raced at the drag strip before, I had a 67 camaro drag
car that ran a best of
9.72 et in the quarter mile at 142 mph. The car had Firestone
14x32x15 drag slicks and
the burnouts were done for a purpose.
