I can't think of anything more appropriate to straighten attitudes out
... it is an impressive sight ... I am going to have to look up the
publication that printed it ... but a quote I have always remembered
from a motorcycle magazine is one introducing an article and starting
with the statement ... "the last thing anyone wants to pull up next to
at a traffic light is a Vmax" ... and then the article went on to
elaborate why the Max being reviewed would make that situation even
worse ..... I love to ride with a herd .. just to hear the words "holy
sh... Vmaxes !!" ..... It's reputation will live longer than we will
... and when you are really old .. and can't throw your leg over
anymore ... some kid will defend you and say ...... "yea ... but he
used to ride a Vmax" ... and the other kids will say ... "holy sh ....
!!"
Besides ... how many magazines do you see with 4 guys ... smoking
tires on the cover ?? Of course ... it was a close call ... between
the "4 man burnout" and the "Tattooed" arm .......... hmmmmmmm ....
