New issue 3918 by [email protected]: JitCodeEvent::CODE_REMOVED is the wrong
thing
https://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=3918
Currently, JitCodeEvent::CODE_REMOVED is never being fired. I assume that
it should be fired at some point though. In that case I think it probably
has the wrong semantics -- it should flush a range of addresses instead of
removing individual code objects. To do otherwise is to burden the garbage
collector with an O(n) traversal of the swept objects on what should mostly
be an O(1) operation.
Is this a correct understanding of the situation?
