Is this because some functions have to behave like sloppy when it comes to
`this`? If so that needs to be part of the spec and I have yet to find
anything like this in the spec.
I don't remember the exact reasons, but some of the functions in there
need to behave like sloppy ones to match the spec (you'll probably find
out quickly by the test failures you get when you try)
I doubt that. For example a lot of tests just tests the presence of all the
properties without any kind of motivation:
