I sympathize with your request; however there is too much to do and too
little time to do it as it is, so committing to ongoing maintenance of
another set of bindings is not going to happen.
We're certainly willing to answer questions and the like if you decide to
maintain Python bindings yourself. Ping v8-users at googlegroups.com.
We might consider hosting such bindings in the official repository if doing
so provides some benefit (my feeling is it won't, e.g. because it would
impose our policies on the contributing process; you'd probably prefer the
freedom of your own github repo).
