The Blink test failures that motivated the rollback are rather trivial to
fix. However, this change risks making reading the length of a TypedArray
slower. I'd like to leave this until after 45 so we can do performance
evaluation better; right after 45 branches, I'll fix the tests and resubmit
this patch to see if anyone feels the pain, including by reaching out to
the maps team.
