I just don't get it. This has been practically a de facto standard for years, and whatever benchmark gains are made come at the steep price of usability, common sense and functionality.
"Real world benchmarks", you know... the ones that matter, not the ones used by the sales guys... will be slower once we have to rebuild functionality for order preserving behavior.
