Chrome changes won't help, since Opera and IE9 have unstable sort too. This invalidates the argument of "Chrome's sort should be stable because everybody else's is" that other people mentioned before.
The spec doesn't guarantee stability; don't rely on it. If you want it 'stable', pass a comparison function that never says two elements are equal.
