so if someone wants a browser-independent stable sort then they're out of luck + have to write their own or use someone's Javascript implementation? (which is likely to be much less efficient than a builtin implementation)
Any chance Chrome could provide a stable sort algorithm in whatever implementation-dependent portion of the javascript namespace is appropriate?
