Further investigation revealed that there are at least 2 problems: The
first one is that we use a completely ad-hoc mysterious limit in
RuntimeProfiler::OptimizeNow for the code size above which we don't do OSR.
This looks strange, and we should handle things differently here. But even
when one removes this arcane limit, things are not much better, because we
now have a deopt loop in _luaV_execute and disable optimization after a few
OSRs/deopts. :-/
Let's see if I can figure out the reason for the loop...
