The underlying problem (apart from the ad-hoc limit mentioned aboved) is as
follows: We somehow infer that it is a good idea to assume a Smi
representation for some SSA values, which results in some HChanges being
added to an OSR block. These HChanges immediately lead to a deopt, over and
over again.
This seems to be a known problem, but with no solution yet.
