the main difference seems to be that JSC doesn't run in that benchmark :)
Blink eagerly creates a javascript context, while WebKit/JSC does not.
When you run the benchmark, you'll notice that after a few fast runs there
will be one slow run: this is when garbage collection hits.
I guess what can be done about this from the v8 side has been done. We can
consider creating the context lazily as well, but that's a blink issue
