While I fully agree that we should remove most of this stuff, we are
breaking our API protocol here: We should deprecate these 2 API entries
for 1 stable release and remove it afterwards.
Is there a chance to get the deprecations into the release branch now?
It shouldn't be a problem when Chrome doesn't use it. Otherwise we
should perhaps wait for another release cycle.
