This issue is not necessarily limited to optimized code. There are other
places that "would like" to embed ConsString objects into code as well. One
example is the LoadIC for constant fields (see LoadIC::CompileHandler). The
GC should just support the embedding and this is what this issue is
tracking. Issue remains open.
