Comment #35 on issue 3006 by [email protected]: Inaccurate sin/cos values
http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=3006

I've just started encountering a slight imprecision / change of behavior in Math.cos() through the test-suite of the paper.js library of which I am one of the authors. My Chrome recently updated itself to v33.0.1750.117 and then the "issue" started appearing (the test suite was comparing with no tolerance, which in itself is the problem). I am not sure this is the same bug, or that it even is a bug, but since the upgrade, this produces a slightly different value on Chrome than all the other engines:

Math.cos(Math.PI / 4)

Chrome: 0.7071067811865475
Others: 0.7071067811865476

Is this related?
