#43: I find it unfortunate you have to do such workarounds for things that are mathematically true and can be implemented exactly in floating point.

The change to V8 is adding something like the following to
TrigonometricInterpolation(x, phase):

  if (x < 0)
    return -TrigonometricInterpolation(-x, phase);

(May need to change the sign of phase as well?)
