Apparently you are not alone with the bad power jack. I found the 12v(still
hot)leads cut and taped on our trailer and a hand crankup hitch jack in its
place. I sort of like the arrangement and I think it will remain. I looked
in the airstream book I purchased for our 73 and they don't even show the
crank. Sounds like I just need to be innovative if I can't locate the real
McCoy. Thanks all!

Also Pearl, I did turn up the Olympian 3100 to high(2800btu) but it didn't
produce alot heat. I guess the key figure here is 2800btu. I think someone
mentioned the best way to use it is to keep the furnace on but set at only
about 68 degrees.
