Don Hardman,   I had to replace the door knob/lock assembly on my '66 Safari.  I discovered that Bargman has a lock assembly which will work and it can be obtained with the long tongue which is required for the Airstream due to the longer distance between the mounting point of the lock assembly and the edge of the door frame.   Conventional RV dealers can order the lock assembly for you.  That is where I obtained mine.  Be sure to specify the long tongue lock.   Harvey Lubbock, TX '66 Safari
