Jim,
When your local unit treasurer submits your dues to HQs at Jax Center,
your number request should be made at that time. If you want a specfic
number, even a 3 digit number, if your request has a good reason, and
the number is available, the HQS might comply. All 2 digit numbers are
taken by company caravans. Most of the 3 digit numbers are reserved for
Regional Officers, and recycled accordingly. There are many 4 digit
numbers available for the asking. It ain't no big deal. Just ask, and
you may receive. Kathy Adams will pick an available number, if you
don't request one.
