I used a friction sleeve sway control device from 1975 until about 4 years
ago when I learned, from the local WBCCI unit members, about the dual cam
sway control. The dual cam is better, especially on longer trailers, but I
think the friction sleeve device would be completely satisfactory on your
'71 Globe Trotter.
