Thanks, Rick. for the response which makes the most sense of any so far. I
have used several kinds of hitch combinations and tow vehicles and came to
most of the same conclusions although with much less experience to go on. I
feel like good tires, good brakes and good driving (defensively) are most
important, not necessarily in that order.
