Hi All: I like my stick. I have put thousands of miles on my Ford F150 with the 4.2 L v6 and 5 speed. Rear end is 3.55. I pull a 25 ft 76 Trade Wind. Only once did I feel that I needed more low end. Coming out of the campground at Pilot Mt. in NC there is a stop sign with an up hill grade. My truck is 4 x 4. I had lower gears, I just did not use them and by the time that I figured out that I needed it I was already going. The 5 speed can go 55 60 miles/ hr in 3, 4,or 5 gear. 15 mpg solo, 12 mpg pulling. bill 25 ft 76 Trade Wind in WV.
