Ed,
You have just had, what is commonly refereed to out here in the East as
a "Sighting". When one is driving down the road and this happens, it is
usually accompanied by craned necks, bobbing and weaving to get a second
look for that all important "ID".
Then there's the obligatory "U"turn and the calling out "It will only take a
minute!". Which translates to a couple hours later and a "history to go",
and if your real lucky you'll get to take it home with you.
Which is why I always carry my hitch assembly in the back of the Durango.
Its like deer hunting. If your out there looking, you'll never find one. But
the moment you turn your attention elsewhere.
