Today's particle board,MDF, and OSB resins contain very minimal amounts of
free formaldehyde, Less than 0.001% w/w compared to those of 8-10 years ago
which contained 2.0 to 3% w/w. The off gas of formaldehyde is not what it
used to be.
By the way the only form of formaldehyde which causes blindness is liquid
solutions in the eye.
