With a bambi you'd do fine with a full-sized car. If you want used, I'd look
for a state auction and go for a highway patrol car. They've got big
engines, low gears to get them going in a hurry, heavy duty and oversized
everything, have been meticulously maintained, and generally go cheap--5-6
grand or so. Next choice would be a used Chevy Impala SS, which is basically
a police package Impala--corvette motor, etc.--in civilian trim. Following
that would be a caprice wagon--get the 350, dual-exhuast version.
