Thanks for the response.  I just got back to your post and reviewed the
photo you referenced.

Your rock guard awning looks good as new.   Unfortunately, my '66 Safari had
only the top frame remaining when I got it.  No awning whatsoever.

I have an Acrylite front window which does not need rock protection anyway
but for appearance and the sun shade capability I would like to have an
awning eventually.
